An extended microadventure kit list for 2 or 3 days, probably at a campsite and using buses and trains - but no cars.
Boating and kayaking - 1 Sep 2011
Single rucksack to grab for a quick and fun day out on the river with the dog. All fits in and on the Verden 45 rucksack. Takes around 5 mins to inflate the boat. Left one of the seats at home.

Kit I use for a 24-36 hour hking or wild camping trip with the dog. I keep this fully packed and ready to go at any time (the zombies are coming).
Capacity to carry 4L of water, which is just about minimum for 1 person and dog. Or you can purify

Planning a microadventure in September, 15 miles each way along Marriots way and wild camping somewhere out of the way. Have a waterproof jacket but this really is a dry weather kit. Plenty of shops on the way to stock up with food and bits.

Burry and hide a number of these around your local area. Enough to make a shelter, start a fire, cook some hot food and treat minor injuries.

Feels like Autum update
Hello everyone on this windy and chilly evening, a quick update for you on the web site. A bit more work on the kit finder to improve the flow and logic of trying to locate your perfect bit of kit. Along with some changes which make URLs appear cleaner, should make book marking and sending links to friends easier. Have also hired a new team member Tam, who is now the 'Guide Editor' and she will be busy adding some informative kit guides and advice for buying.
